SOME TEAS AND ACCESSORIES MAY VARY IN COLOUR AS OUR PHOTOS ARE TAKEN IN DIFFERENT LIGHT CONDITIONS AND COMPUTER SCREENS HAVE DIFFERENT SETTINGS THAT MODERATE COLOURS.
Depending on personal preferences and taste, I would suggest measuring tea by weight and not volume for each type of tea but to give you a rough guide for the majority of black teas you will use around 2.5g serving of tea per 250ml cup.
For those looking for a stronger cup, simply use more tea leaves, but keep the recommended infusion time the same – leaving tea leaves in the water for longer doesn’t make the tea any stronger, just more astringent and bitter.
So if you are using 2 cup teapots then you would require to use 2 servings of tea per pot.
If your budget allows, it’s really good to invest in a purpose made 1 Cup measuring spoon for tea as these make measuring tea so much easier for you .
